  • Album Rating: i think it's pretty safe to say this album changed my fu**ing life man. and i guess we'll just say it all went downhill from there hahaha. electric wizard have an obvious love and very large understanding of the occult and of heavy and heavily psychedelic music. awesome record, good review, i like how you mentioned the band Boris! hell yeah/5.
  • I had driven back from New Jersey during the day — most of it, anyway — with the knowledge that I wanted to see Queen Elephantine at O’Brien’s last night. I knew I’d be tired as crap, but figured it’d be worth it because somehow it had gotten to be like half a decade since I last saw the band, in Maryland at the first benefit for Evil Fanny.
  • Queen Elephantine’s second long-playing venture is Kailash. The album takes its name and guiding spirit from the mystical Himalayan peak on which the Destroyer dwells in the state of perpetual meditation, in the deathless state.
