• Dream Theater - Live in Tokyo/5 Years in a Livetime 4 stars There are so many nice things about this compilation DVD. One being we have a brilliant performance (which is expected now) at the period in time and we also have a lot of cool insight on the band behind the scenes/5.

• Feb 06,  · This is Dream Theater's Take the Time live in Tokyo on the Images and Words tour. At the end, John Petrucci goes into an AMAZING guitar solo. A lot of people say it is his best (including me).

• Dream Theater hired fellow Berklee alumnus Derek Sherinian, who had previously toured and recorded with Alice Cooper and KISS, to fill in for the Waking Up the World Tour. By the conclusion of the tour, the band decided to take Sherinian on as Moore's full-time replacement.
